Terms & Conditions for The Nation of Us:

Welcome to The Nation of Us. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to our digital ecosystem, participation in our decentralized governance, and your presence within our physical territory in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. By interacting with our platform or acquiring a digital passport, you agree to these Terms and our Foundational Manifesto.

1. The New Social Agreement

By using our services, you are not merely a "user," but a participant in a new social agreement designed to foster autonomy, decentralization, and human growth. You agree to act with responsibility, consciousness, and respect for nature and fellow citizens.

2. Citizenship Tiers and Digital Passports

Access to specific "Cities" (Blockchain City, Soul City, etc.) and benefits is governed by your Passport tier:

Founders (Negro): Limited to 2,000 members. Includes 10,000 COU Tokens and 10 votes in the National Government.

Pioneers (Azul): Limited to 10,000 members. Includes 500 COU Tokens and 6 votes in the National Council.

Colonizers (Verde): Involved in the development of the physical "Cities".

Nativos and Residents: Focused on the daily economy and long-term community integration.

3. DAO Governance and COU Tokens

Tokenized Assets: The Nation utilizes Real World Asset (RWA) tokens (COU Tokens) backed by the valuation of our 1,040 hectares in Guanacaste and our intellectual property.

Decentralized Authority: Decisions are made through a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO). Your voting power is determined by your passport tier and token holdings.

Immutable Records: You acknowledge that blockchain transactions are permanent and cannot be reversed by any central authority within the Nation.

4. Intellectual Property and "Disruptive" Rights

All content, including the Manifesto, architectural designs for our sustainable cities, and the curriculum of Disruptive University of the Americas, is the intellectual property of The Nation of Us.

5. Financial Decentralization

Through our alliance with Bancus, we provide an ecosystem for financial separation from traditional banking. You agree that:

The Nation promotes a circular economy based on real value creation, not empty speculation.

The exchange of assets, bartering, and decentralized finance (DeFi) are encouraged within our borders.

6. Physical Territory Rules (Guanacaste, Costa Rica)

For those accessing our 1,040-hectare site:

Sustainability: You must comply with our regenerative and organic principles.

Legacy Forest: Damage to trees in the Legacy Forest or unauthorized interference with Time Capsules is strictly prohibited.

Autonomous Security: Our infrastructure uses smart technology to ensure safety without compromising individual freedom.

7. National Communications (SMS & TCPA)

By providing your contact information, you provide express written consent to receive "National Alerts," including:

Updates on token launch stages and price adjustments.

DAO voting reminders and community event notifications.

Communications from Disruptive University.

Opt-Out: Reply STOP to exit; however, this may result in missing critical governance votes.

8. Disclosures and Assumption of Risk

Not an Escape: This is a reimagining of society, not a guarantee of isolation from global events.

Token Volatility: While tokens are backed by assets, their value in external markets may fluctuate.

Underwriting: Access to physical residential lots or vertical housing is subject to the priority rights of Founders and Pioneers.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Nation of Us provides the infrastructure for your success, but the "Phenomenal Will" to achieve must come from you. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Nation is not liable for individual business failures or personal choices that conflict with the Manifesto.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the decentralized principles of the Nation of Us DAO, supplemented by the laws of Guanacaste, Costa Rica, where physical property is concerned.
